STEMNET
Poole accountant Chris Tullett from Morris Lane has been selected by BIS (the Department for Business Innovation & Skills) to be the face of the UK accountancy profession featuring on a series of " Manufacturing for the Future" posters displayed in secondary schools nationwide. The BIS initiative, STEMNET (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network), aims to encourage young people into a career in manufacturing. Chris was chosen as a result of his work with Dorset entrepreneur Simon Phelps, advising on business issues in the development of the award winning Floodstop, a unique reusable plastic flood barrier, which has received international publicity.
